Penalty fines are set to a standard scale in the Criminal Justice Act 1982 and the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012.
Fines for offences under The First Scheme, 1907 and 1925 SNN Acts are set at Level 1. Offences under the 1925 Act also have a maximum daily rate of £1.
Fines for offences under the 1939 Act for London are set at Level 2.
